Velotech courses are nationally recognised awards that qualify you to work in the cycle industry, but they are also a great way to enhance your own knowledge and skills in cycle maintenance for personal use.

The Velotech courses range from training and assessment in basic bicycle maintenance-the Red, White, Blue and Bronze Awards; to the Silver and Gold courses, which provide training and assessment in bicycle mechanics to Industry standard level. The Silver course is a pre-requisite for going onto the Gold course. The Velotech courses are run by Donald Cameron, Velotech trainer for Glasgow and West Scotland.

These courses are run at Cycleform training Centre, in Glasgow, but we also operate as a mobile training unit and can run courses at customers’ venues.

During the course the candidates are shown how to perform each task, then led through the procedure, and finally have to carry out the task unaided to demonstrate that they understand the procedure and can carry it out in a safe and competent manner.
